Habanero infrastructure architect receives Microsoft MVP award

Jason Warren, a Habanero Infrastructure Architect has been designated as a 2014 Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in SharePoint Server. This is Jason’s second MVP award.

The MVP award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. There are 24 SharePoint MVPs in Canada right now.

According to Microsoft, MVP nominees go through a rigorous review process that includes technical evaluations and a review of an applicant's activity in a certain community. Jason regularly contributes technical articles to the Habanero Insights blog, his personal blog at, and is active in the SharePoint TechNet Forums. This October, Jason will present a talk at the SharePoint Summit in Vancouver, Under the Hood: SharePoint Server 2013 Search where he will take a look at the communication within the SharePoint Search service as it handles a user’s query and returns search results.
