Habanero Consulting Group has been nominated for Best Mobile Solution in the 2015 CDN Channel Elite Awards.
The nomination is for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia’s customer portal. Habanero revamped the organization’s website into a responsive solution to meet the needs of ICBC’s audience. ICBC.com is now available on any screen size, replacing the previous standalone mobile site with a fully-responsive end-user experience.
Since going live, mobile traffic to ICBC.com has risen 20 per cent. Visitors are also 16 times more likely to interact with site content compared to the previous solution.
A major component of this project is the Online Practice Knowledge Test. The Test is the primary way new drivers prepare for road tests, but this is the first time it has been available on mobile devices. Since going live, views of the Online Practice Knowledge Test have increased 201 per cent.
“We are excited to receive this nomination and are proud of the work we did with ICBC. This was truly a team effort between both organizations,” said Mallory O’Connor, Habanero’s customer experiences practice lead.
ICBC is a Crown corporation that provides universal auto insurance, driver licensing, and vehicle licensing and registration to B.C. motorists.
The CDN Channel Elite Awards promote the business advantages that technology solutions can create. Winners will be announced at an awards gala on September 10 in Toronto.
