Habanero is proud to sponsor the 2013 Vancouver SharePoint Summit at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on October 28 and 29. This event is one of the most important gatherings for leaders in the SharePoint community.
The conference will also feature two presentations of Habanero solutions. We're excited to share our latest experiences with SharePoint at this event!
Mallory O'Connor, Customer and Member Portals Practice Lead, will share the story of the Surrey School District’s SchoolLink mobile app. Habanero worked with the school district’s existing SharePoint portal to create an app that enables content from the district website to be pushed out to different mobile devices. Mallory’s presentation will also include information on about the ways content can be extended from a SharePoint portal to mobile devices and different approaches to mobile solutions based on our experience with SchoolLink.
Portal Management and Sustainment Consultant Dan Helmer will present a case study on Island Savings Credit Union’s new member queue management (MQM) system, a solution the credit union uses to help greeters and agents connect with members as they enter each branch. Designed by Habanero, the MQM system features Windows Presentation Foundation (Client UI), SharePoint 2010 or 2013 (Data storage and permissions), MS Lync (presence and IM), and MS Exchange (free/busy time).
Habanero attended the Toronto SharePoint Summit in the spring, and we're looking forward to connecting with other SharePoint experts at the Vancouver edition!
