"Prototyping" is the first in a new video podcast series focusing on user experience trends. These trends refer to concepts that we are not only interested in as UE professionals, but also areas that are having more and more impact on the projects we work on today.
We chose to start with a common one most people have probably heard of, and maybe even tried: prototyping.
In this 3 minute video, Cat and I talk about prototyping, not necessarily as something new, but in terms of the impact it has on our day-to-day projects.
If you want to learn more about prototyping, there are tons of resources out there, but I really like these two books:
- Prototyping, A Practitioner's Guide, by Todd Zaki Warfel
- Sketching User Experiences: Getting the Design Right and the Right Design, by Bill Buxton
We have quite a list of trends in the hopper, but let us know what you think of this video experiment, and what topics you might want to see!
