Vancity, one of Canada’s largest credit unions, partnered with Habanero to bring their new brand and digital experience to life on SitecoreAI. For this project, they’ve been named as a finalist in the Sitecore Digital Impact Awards, an achievement that reflects the meaningful impact of our work together. Their website launch is the latest chapter in a 10+ year relationship that spans digital support and ongoing evolution of the website.
Vancity’s new website amplifies their evolved brand and differentiates the organization within an increasingly competitive financial services landscape. Grounded in human-centred design principles, it delivers more intuitive, anticipatory experiences for current and prospective Vancity members, so they can confidently navigate their financial journey. Vancity is already seeing the impact: member acquisition in April and May 2026 increased by an incredible 18% compared to the same period in 2025.
“At Vancity, we’re focused on creating meaningful digital experiences that help members find the right information at the right time,” says Vancity Vice President, Marketing, Gurpreet Jhaj. “Sitecore has enabled us to streamline content management, improve collaboration across teams, and bring greater efficiency to how we create and deliver content. Most importantly, it allows us to tell more compelling stories that connect our purpose, products, and impact in a way that is relevant and engaging for our members.”
We’re pleased to have made the list of 2026 finalists who are reimagining digital experiences and making impact around the world.
