Habanero to co-present the Vancouver User Experience Awards

Habanero is proud to co-present the first-ever Vancouver User Experience Awards. These awards honour UX innovation and incredible experiences in the Lower Mainland.

"The Vancouver User Experience Awards offer a chance for local firms and professionals to submit the great user experience work they do every day," says Mallory O'Connor, Habanero's customer and member portals practice lead. "There's so much great stuff happening in Vancouver and we want to recognize all the awesome experiences created by the practitioners in this region."

The submission period is from Sept. 25 to Oct. 31, 2014. Applicants can enter any of the five categories: employee experience, non-profit, student, customer experience, future experiences. A people's choice award will be decided by members of the VanUE community.

Judges for the event include Blair Neufeld, Bonny Zabolotney, Selma Zafar, Gagan Diesh, and Mallory O'Connor.

The awards gala is set for Nov. 26 at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown. The event includes a keynote speech from Jonathan Suter, founder of SimpleTax. SimpleTax is an online app that aims to simplify tax preparation.

OpenRoad and VanUE are co-presenting the awards with Habanero.
