Discussing engagement and the digital workplace at IABC Canada West Conference

The way we work is changing so fast that “there’s a more complex digital landscape practically every month,” says Habanero’s Mallory O’Connor, Practice Lead, Enterprise Experiences and Innovation, “Giving employees the autonomy to make purpose-driven decisions is more important than ever.”

Habanero is invited to speak at the upcoming IABC West Regional Conference. We will be sharing tools to help communicators lead employees through organizational change and discussing how great companies are using tools such as design thinking to drive success in the digital workplace.

  • Monday, October 23: “Using Design Thinking to Elevate the Communicator’s Role in the Creation of a Modern Digital Workplace”. Learn the tenets of the digital workplace and how communicators can apply design thinking to the challenge of digital transformation.
  • Tuesday, October 24: “When Stakes are High: Engaging Employees in Your Future”. Joined by Jessica O’Dowd, Talent Communications Lead, People and Culture, at Arc’teryx, we’ll talk about fostering dialogue when your organizational values are at stake.

The IABC Canada West Regional Conference happens every two years, bringing together a huge number of professional communicators in Canada. The digital landscape and organizational transformation are two key topics this year.
