Habanero’s Scott deVeber is chairing the Future Work Canada conference

Habanero Digital Workplace Consultant Scott deVeber is chairing the Future Work conference, September 8–10, a virtual event that brings together leaders from human resources, culture and technology to explore employee experiences and the future of work.

Organizations are responding in many ways to the impact of COVID-19. This year, Future Work invites speakers from leading organizations, including Dell, Gap, National Bank of Canada, Shopify and Scotiabank, to share how they’re using the lessons learned through the crisis to reimagine work for the future. Keynotes and panels will explore topics like:

  • Designing for the future post-pandemic
  • Developing a safe return-to-work plan
  • Challenges and opportunities with the emerging hybrid work model
  • How technology can help address both today’s challenges and future crisis situations

Panel – Navigating the New Normal: Addressing Employee Experience

Scott deVeber will also lead a panel discussion with industry leaders from Gore Mutual Insurance, Gap, Manulife and Red Label Vacations. Together, they’ll explore ways to foster collaboration and social interaction, how to help employees regain a sense of control and be productive, and how the right tools can empower employees to get their jobs done in new ways.
