TC Energy's intranet wins 2022 Intranet and Digital Workplace Award

TC Energy’s enterprise intranet, 1TC, has received a Step Two 2022 Intranet and Digital Workplace Award.

1TC connects a team of 7,000+ energy problem solvers in both field and corporate office locations across North America. With personalized news, shareable social content, safety moments and a popular user-submitted photo gallery, it’s a place for employees to find essential information, celebrate successes and share stories.

Built on GO Intranet for modern SharePoint and integrated with Microsoft Teams, 1TC delivers a fully mobile experience and a cohesive Microsoft 365 experience. A self-service brand portal and intuitive authoring capabilities empower employees to create on-brand content with ease.

“We were excited by the capabilities of GO, and the fact that it’s constantly releasing fresh features and functionality,” says Stephanie Hudema, Team Lead, Digital Content and Channel Management, at TC Energy. “Partnering with Habanero has helped us to make sure we’re innovating in ways that align with our intranet vision and business goals while adding value for our employees.”

Step Two Designs, which created the Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards, recognized 1TC for its innovative capabilities, its well-executed launch, aligned with company strategy, strong adoption across the business and success in fostering a shared culture.

TC Energy works to move, generate and store the energy North America relies on while modernizing its vast network of pipelines to cut emissions, cultivate more renewable power and develop new, high-tech ways to store it.
