Habanero at Toronto SharePoint Saturday

On September 19, Habanero Consulting Group will be presenting at Toronto SharePoint Saturday.

Chris Radcliffe, a Habanero senior consultant, and Melanie Gabanna, a consultant with experience on several large intranet initiatives, will share stories from our work on the redevelopment of Goldcorp’s employee portal, Conveyor. This SharePoint intranet project included merging 15 separate portals into one digital workplace hub and simplifying collaboration for Goldcorp employees.

Chris and Melanie will also cover many of the innovations from the Goldcorp intranet project that any organization can consider when upgrading or building a SharePoint employee portal. These advancements include content targeting strategies to balance global and local communications, faceted navigation, and ways to organize content, sites, tasks, and apps to engage every type of worker. 

Sarah Berg, a portal success consultant, is presenting on Enbridge’s recent SharePoint 2013 employee portal upgrade. Her talk includes highlights from the project that apply to any large organization looking to move to the most recent on-premises SharePoint platform.
